Clients Often Arrive Feeling Or Experiencing One Or More Of The Following:

Psychotherapy & Counselling

It’s natural to try and avoid painful feelings and seek out more pleasurable distractions in life. The way internal struggles tend to be handled is often due to momentary learnt coping mechanisms in early life.

Whilst it might have served you well then, you may be receiving signals that it no longer serves your emotional and psychological needs today.

So, when a persistent unhelpful response grows and starts impacting your behaviour, thoughts, emotions, self-worth, lifestyle or relationships, you know when it's time to take a different approach.

Couples Counselling & Psychotherapy

Most people who start Couples Counselling & Psychotherapy feel like they are stuck in a negative cycle unable to move forward. Perhaps you can relate? Maybe you feel like you want to escape your relationship problems or you know you'd be happier if you made changes but it feels safer and more comfortable to stay the same.

Couples Counselling & Psychotherapy helps your relationship to rise above the challenges and start moving towards your ideal life with less fighting and more loving.

You will get the effective skills you need to feel safer in your relationships and see patterns that you couldn't on your own.

HAES® Informed Therapy

Many people find coping with challenges around body size, weight issues and eating impossible to deal with. Most people who start psychotherapy and counselling feel stuck in a diet mindset repeating the same painful patterns of losing and regaining weight.

Perhaps you can relate? Maybe you feel like you want to escape your life or you find your body and eating a burden and long for relief from the constant diet mindset and comfort eating cycles.

The Health At Every Size® approach helps you rise above your challenges. Start moving towards your ideal life with less confusion and more confidence learning new skills, how to nourish well and intuitive eating approaches.

Career Therapy

The workplace and your career can be significant relationships in your life. From the first to your last job before retirement, these relationships can impact your psychological health and wellbeing for the better or the worse.

As a psychotherapist and former HR professional, I have deep insights and accrued experience into our psychological relationship with organisations and how we seek meaning and purpose through work. There may be issues relating to belonging, feeling good enough, performance anxiety, work related stress, relational difficulties with colleagues, career transitions, difficult starts and endings.

So if your job or experience at work is negatively impacting your quality of life and psychological health, I invite you to get in touch to explore how we can work together.
